Kestrel Cottage We are ready to welcome you to our comfortable self catering holiday cottage nestled in rolling Normandy countryside.	Family Holidays Great place for family gatherings: 3 generations, two families, large families or just families who enjoy space and comfort!	Freedom With so many activities and places to play right here, the children will be as busy as they want to be and parents can relax.
The garden The cottage is set in an acre of gardens with toys, trampoline, football goal, lawns, seating, wild areas and trees.	Inside the cottage Kestrel Cottage is rustic, welcoming and comfortable with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the people you are with.	Comfortable beds There are 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 people plus 2 sofa beds and various options for babies, toddlers and children. We do all the sheets and bedding at no extra cost to you.
Fitted Kitchen Everything to hand, including a dishwasher. Basics cupboard with things like herbs, tin foil, kitchen paper...so you don't need to remember to pack them!	The landing area There is plenty of space for families to enjoy inside Kestrel Cottage.	The Play Loft Just next door to Kestrel Cottage, you'll find an upstairs Indoor play haven with toys and activities for tots to teens and a comfy sofa for grown-ups to relax.
The pool We have a 5m above ground pool. Solar heated and fenced with a lockable gate.	Dusty Barn Another covered place to play, in case of rain or too much shine! Perfect for imagination and messy play.	The Firepit Imagine a happy evening roasting marshmallows over a campfire with your family, or quietly enjoying a glass of wine in the firelight.
Pets welcome Animals are part of the family here and you are welcome to bring your furry family members with you. This is Dobby, he's very friendly and enjoys meeting guests and their companions.	Little Petting Farm We have some pet farm animals behind the cottage and I'm very happy to take guests to meet my animal friends.	Walkies! Gary the Goat and Kevin le Cochon enjoy coming for a walk with Dobby and I.
Great Location We are equidistant from both coastlines and Normandy has many attractions to suit all tastes. So whatever your family is interested in you'll be sure to find something to please everyone without having to go too far.	Medieval History Normandy has many sites of interest, beautiful old towns, cathedrals and monuments. Le Mont St Michel is probably the most famous.	Military history There are museums, monuments and cemeteries all around this region and in June each year there are many parades and events.
Action and Adventure If your family like action and adventure you'll find plenty of options within an hour of Kestrel Cottage.	Nature We are near the valley of the Vire offering beautiful walks, streams, stepping stones and waterfalls. You can start on the walking tracks straight from the door of Kestrel Cottage and go as far as you want.	Childrens Activities We are happy to do onsite activity sessions with your children.
We live next door We live in the farm house attached to Kestrel Cottage. We are on hand to help your holiday go smoothly if you need it and are happy to share our local knowledge.	Peace When the closest neighbours are cows you know your children can relax, run, make noise, explore and enjoy.	Spectacular skies With no light pollution you get treated to wonderful views of amazing stars, you can even see the milkyway.
Admiring the view This is the view from our field. Sometimes we'll have horses to say hello to, sometimes it's just for you.	Time to stop Enjoy the seating area next to the pond, linger over a BBQ and extend into the evening with the chimenea.	Magical Sunsets Another bonus of being in the countryside, stunning sunsets. The sunrises are good too, but I'm not often up to photograph them!
